After 14 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the PomeziaRamblers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claus Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. Kuido Suursaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Bruno Scibilia took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joshua Secada hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Scibilia came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Adrián Frick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Bruno Scibilia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PomeziaRamblers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, PomeziaRamblers's Kuido Suursaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrián Frick was slow to take the kick. During this time PomeziaRamblers's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Aurelio Frabetti. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 46th minute. Aurelio Frabetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kuido Suursaar made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Kuido Suursaar made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 55 minutes into the match, Kuido Suursaar notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claus Himschoot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 59 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Florian. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuido Suursaar in the 63rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Aurelio Frabetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Aurelio Frabetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Scibilia in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match PomeziaRamblers got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrián Frick ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Bruno Scibilia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a PomeziaRamblers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Scibilia in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Scibilia in the 78th minute of play. Benjamin Ülger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Scibilia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Bruno Scibilia managed to get in a good position for a shot. PomeziaRamblers's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Scibilia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that PomeziaRamblers were the better team. PomeziaRamblers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
