The wind increased when Teofil Sobczak made the kick off in the second half. In the 80th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Raymundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Teofil Sobczak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 3-5 in the 94 minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Chile lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
