Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 21 minutes into the game, Dragomir Breković was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nieciece's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Nieciece getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Bycofski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Mateusz Hajto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Nieciece booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Nieciece's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Nieciece's Mateusz Hajto managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Harbaszewski in the 74th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateusz Hajto having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Sotiris Bagasakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateusz Hajto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Nieciece's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barnaba Dziechciowski in the 94th minute. The supporters of Nieciece booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball.
