Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 94th minute of play forced Adapazarı FK's goalkeeper Germano Espinosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Arif Tugay Hacıahmetoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Adapazarı FK to leave the ground with a draw.
