Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Tabor in the 3rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matei Rainea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matei Rainea came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, FC Calea Sagului's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Matei Rainea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Patrichi in the 18th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Rainea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Calea Sagului's goalkeeper Matei Rainea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Niculae Maior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Patrichi's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristinel Patrichi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Calea Sagului's Cristinel Patrichi got a free kick in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Rainea having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 71st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Rainea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matei Rainea came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 81 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Rainea. FC Calea Sagului's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Calea Sagului! In the 92nd minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Rainea was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 98th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Rainea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Calea Sagului for a fine match.
