In the 20th minute Wart Goegebeur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shota Stopa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The wind increased when Just Fontaine made the kick off in the second half. Just Fontaine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wart Goegebeur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Carballar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shota Stopa having to interfere. Just Fontaine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Pezerik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wart Goegebeur to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Wart Goegebeur might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pezerik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Rutgeerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Secada made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shota Stopa was left in no man's land by his defense there!
