Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Dong Ming Qian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Belfegor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Menichini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Belfegor FC's goal. Fede Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fede Gomes quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Fede Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Fede Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fede Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marten Palermo sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fede Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Belfegor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Colas made a kick off. When Everardo Colas came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Belfegor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Colas couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fede Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marten Palermo in the 75th minute of the match. Fede Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Belfegor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Colas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Fede Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marten Palermo in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Belfegor FC's Marten Palermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Belfegor FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
