Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Hunaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Macos Graciani fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brian Hunaerts quite easily take care of the ball. In the 5th match minute, Westbeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ganga Ban to maneuver through the defense. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Westbeke's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Brian Hunaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westbeke's Brian Hunaerts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Luca Zorita put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Brian Hunaerts. Brian Hunaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Westbeke's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 32nd minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Hunaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Hunaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Westbeke's goalkeeper Brian Hunaerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Brian Hunaerts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Adolphe Sempels tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolphe Sempels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Lex Stoffels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Brian Hunaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Westbeke's goalkeeper Brian Hunaerts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Brian Hunaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Westbeke's Brian Hunaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 64th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Brian Hunaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louis Claevers hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Hunaerts having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Brian Hunaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Joel Gaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Brian Hunaerts made a huge save. Ganga Ban kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Westbeke's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Westbeke's goalkeeper Brian Hunaerts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. In the 89th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 95 minutes into the match, Remie Uytebroeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remie Uytebroeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Westbeke succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
