He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peru reached it. The supporters of Peru booed when Vejbystrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 龙挺卫 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Harald Ennegren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but 龙挺卫 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Ennegren in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torgny Valrot kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harald Ennegren to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 52nd minute of play forced Vejbystrand's goalkeeper 龙挺卫 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vejbystrand booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Bernt Nordlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Joachim Anselius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute Joachim Anselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Nordlund in the 81st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but 龙挺卫 made a huge save. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when David Rosendahl made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Sonny Karlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 龙挺卫 made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
