The audience thought a goal was coming when Ed Zeeman got free with Rolando Noboa in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the game, Stelian Cănănău threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alonso Berganza lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 6th minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. Romanian Gods™'s Isac Murgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Cosoroabă in the 14th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Cosoroabă in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Wincent Mojsiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Zeeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Cosoroabă in the 45th minute of the match. Romanian Gods™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionuț Cosoroabă in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Luz Tejedor made the kick off in the second half. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gustaf Törnqvist, made in the 59th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ed Zeeman in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Romanian Gods™'s Isac Murgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Romanian Gods™ from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the game, Stelian Cănănău threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 79th minute Zula Dziura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Törnqvist in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Ed Zeeman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Zeeman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Peru booed when Romanian Gods™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Mojsiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isac Murgan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Romanian Gods™'s Ed Zeeman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Romanian Gods™ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
