Cristian Jimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Sifon took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. In the 7th minute Cristian Santamaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Angel Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Botello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes of play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Cristian Santamaria made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Carmelo Sifon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Sifon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Karlus Waugh a yellow card for diving instead. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Dida Campidelis was substituted for Alexander Torres. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Karlus Waugh hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Finlay Stair to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romon Oliver in the 53rd minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Emiliano Anaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Santamaria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Demonde Jacobson came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Santamaria slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 57th minute. With an all-out effort, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Demonde Jacobson threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Jimenez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nicolás Guerrero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Carmelo Sifon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Carmelo Sifon sent off a good shot on target. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Botello in the 76th minute of play. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Santamaria in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Carmelo Sifon could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Demonde Jacobson however easily saved by the left post. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Carmelo Sifon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-11. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sasho Inkyov in the 90th minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Santamaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 93 minutes on the clock, Wayan Freeman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 94 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Wayan Freeman. When the match was over Real Madrid de Guatemala could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jamaica throughout the match.
