In the 3rd minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Konrad Pankowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Konrad Pankowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KS Olimpia Warszawa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Konrad Pankowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KS Olimpia Warszawa! KS Olimpia Warszawa:s Tytus Frenzel showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. After 14 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tytus Frenzel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tytus Frenzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KS Olimpia Warszawa's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tytus Frenzel came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KS Olimpia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Wallach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tytus Frenzel having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tytus Frenzel. 33 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tytus Frenzel. KS Olimpia Warszawa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Tytus Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Kryspin Drzewucki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Olimpia Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Kryspin Drzewucki kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Tytus Frenzel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Tytus Frenzel. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikolaj Kazczyk during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mikolaj Kazczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Tytus Frenzel made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Tytus Frenzel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 62 minute of play. Felix Montes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Tytus Frenzel made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Ecuador's Felix Montes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tytus Frenzel. Tytus Frenzel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KS Olimpia Warszawa.
