After a defensive mix-up in Nykvarn's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Josefsson came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The El Salvador fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when El Salvador's Moises Fernandino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Jakobsson hit a great ball. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tor Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Tamayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jon Matsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Matsson got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joshua Curbelo made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abram Luque however managed to control. In the 33rd minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Joshua Curbelo with Abram Luque as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nykvarn's Alf Jönsson. Valentino Ferrant made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nykvarn's Bengt-Rune Jakobsson. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tor Josefsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Josefsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor Josefsson. Nykvarn's Bengt-Rune Jakobsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Rubio, made in the 56th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Marco Tamayo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tor Josefsson, 0-4. When Abram Luque fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Abram Luque a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Magrina hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Oliver Bergfeldt hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Tor Josefsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Matsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Jon Matsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 94th minute, Jorge Magrina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Nykvarn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Salvador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
