Amager FC's Seyit Sözmen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Strømvad. Kenneth Strandsgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Amager FC's Birger Strømvad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Strandsgaard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maria Mette kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kenneth Strandsgaard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The Amager FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Amin Rostvold sent off a good shot on target. Amdi Salombo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Strandsgaard having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Birger Strømvad got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Strandsgaard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Kenneth Strandsgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amin Rostvold to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Amager FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Strandsgaard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 58th minute Amager FC were awarded a corner. Seyit Sözmen went to the cornerflag to take it. Seyit Sözmen made a great header on Amager FC's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Strømvad in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amin Rostvold scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Bitsch replaced Birger Strømvad. 75 minutes into the match, Samuel Bitsch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Bitsch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Bitsch in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kenneth Strandsgaard, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amdi Salombo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match.
