They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Nordmark was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eliseo Mina. 96 minutes into the match, Kevin Fagrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Fagrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
