In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院's goalkeeper 洪斌鹏, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 洪斌鹏 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院's Nick Stark made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fermin Derwin charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Derwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 洪斌鹏. 洪斌鹏 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 洪斌鹏 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a little luck, ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院's 洪斌鹏 got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Stark in the 85th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Josué Formas made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but 洪斌鹏 made a huge save. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ≮王者归来≯湖北经管学院 had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
