The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Algoso Warriors's Hipólito Neto suffered a concussion in the 19th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Felipe Ros fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Felipe Ros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Algoso Warriors's Gustavo Lima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Algoso Warriors's Nestor Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José San Martín got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nestor Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Miralles in the 38th minute of play forced Algoso Warriors's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gio Moreno's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Algoso Warriors's José San Martín got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Berganza got free with Nestor Guillelmus in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nestor Guillelmus made a huge save. Gustavo Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Nestor Guillelmus made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Algoso Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Algoso Warriors's Araoz Miñano got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Guillelmus having to interfere. When Abraham Alguacil got free in front of the goal in the 93rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Nestor Guillelmus was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Algoso Warriors players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
