Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sigfrid Eildorf made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Bent Streyder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Nordlet having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Tristan Nordlet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tristan Nordlet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tristan Nordlet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Holmkjar Hotspurs's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Nordlet came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tristan Nordlet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Peru were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Tristan Nordlet made a huge save. In the 61st match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigfrid Eildorf to maneuver through the defense. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Milagros Fraga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Magnus Steinwart was substituted for Bent Streyder. In the 73rdth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elmar Lexbo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Anthony Alvarado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Holmkjar Hotspurs:s goal. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Holmkjar Hotspurs. Elmar Lexbo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolando Noboa. 2-4. 93 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Steinwart came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru played a much better game than Holmkjar Hotspurs and deserved their victory. The Holmkjar Hotspurs players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
