Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerzy Prochko in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ecuador booed when 1 FC Elbląg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Rzeszutko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1 FC Elbląg's Einaras Čizauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 44th minute of play.
