Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After having played for 2 minutes, Bruno Zuidema managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Dalwhinnie Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Zuidema was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Zuidema in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in The Dalwhinnie Boys's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harm Rooy came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommie Jorna took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Jorna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Zuidema got free with Julio Vera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Harm Rooy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after The Dalwhinnie Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After 24 minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Harm Rooy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When The Dalwhinnie Boys's Ger Mols in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Harm Rooy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramon Saelman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harm Rooy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Harm Rooy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Harm Rooy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harm Rooy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute Bruno Zuidema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bjorn Kuijpers hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Harm Rooy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Harm Rooy quite easily take care of the ball. When Juan Sebastián Puig came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Sebastián Puig couldn't finish the play. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Harm Rooy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save The Dalwhinnie Boys from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Harm Rooy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harm Rooy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harm Rooy having to make a save. After having played for 78 minutes, Ger Mols managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Dalwhinnie Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ger Mols was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Mirko Blank got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harm Rooy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Zuidema went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ger Mols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dalwhinnie Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Harm Rooy, making the score, 2-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when The Dalwhinnie Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Mos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita shot a long shot in the 90th minute and a light blocked Harm Rooy hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-3. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
