Joachim Wiggers's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. KV Schoonwater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 36 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Viklund. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Geraerts in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Daniel Ingelbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Van Den Wijngaert made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 53rd minute of play. Abel Van Den Wijngaert succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Sem Roekeloos struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Schoonwater. Tomas Illescas in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Ingelbert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 73rd minute Sem Roekeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Lucas Van Geertruyden's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Daniel Ingelbert made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Stuijckens came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KV Schoonwater fully deserved thier win.
