Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iason Plexioudas. Iason Plexioudas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marco Tamayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panos Chasiotis during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Panos Chasiotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes MELATES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Notis Mantarinakis. 17 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Iason Plexioudas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of El Salvador booed when MELATES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Notis Mantarinakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Notis Mantarinakis during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Notis Mantarinakis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Iason Plexioudas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Luque in the 28th minute of play forced MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper Iason Plexioudas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MELATES F.C.'s Iason Plexioudas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Tamayo in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper Iason Plexioudas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Iason Plexioudas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. In the 41st minute, Notis Mantarinakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45thth minute of the game Moises Fernandino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MELATES F.C.'s Iason Plexioudas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half El Salvador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Rakowski made a kick off. After 51 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. After 54 played minutes MELATES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dimosthenis Tzalakostas. After some careless play in the MELATES F.C. defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iason Plexioudas. The MELATES F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iason Plexioudas should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iason Plexioudas. Iason Plexioudas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Mateo Leguizamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Leguizamo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iason Plexioudas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in MELATES F.C.'s zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iason Plexioudas came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, MELATES F.C.'s Iason Plexioudas got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Norbert Rakowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MELATES F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Norbert Rakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the game Notis Mantarinakis made a throw-in which Avraam Skarpathiotis played forward. The MELATES F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Salvador's performance. The match ended with a win for El Salvador.
