Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Brayden McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match, Ryan Giggs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Emotep SK's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Fernanco Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Emotep SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Acunalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernanco Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencer Hüdayioğlu in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernanco Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Emotep SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryan Giggs got free with Dante Lacasa in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brayden McPaul in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Emotep SK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rikard Bergdal hit a great ball. After 45 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernanco Muslera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 67th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Emotep SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencer Hüdayioğlu in the 69th minute of play. Ryan Giggs struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emotep SK. After a rather tough play, Emotep SK's Hasan Hüseyin Başol got a free kick in the 75th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emotep SK made a substitution. Salih Çapan replaced Gencer Hüdayioğlu. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernanco Muslera having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Emotep SK's Ryan Giggs got a free kick in the 91st minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Fernanco Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
