Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Harsh Gods's Tomas Lain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Lain in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Tomas Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Harsh Gods's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gersi Snabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Roberto Carlos came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Harsh Gods fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Carlos couldn't finish the play. Abdurrahim Dengizer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 played minutes, Harsh Gods's Renatas Eidukonis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Harsh Gods reached it. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Tomas Lain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Xosepin Verdeja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After having played for 42 minutes, Jogaila Makauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harsh Gods's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jogaila Makauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A hard shot by Roberto Carlos from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Lain in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepin Verdeja in the 63rd minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Lain's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harsh Gods made a substitution. Jokūbas Miškūnas replaced Gabriele Meilutyte. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Gersi Snabe made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gersi Snabe. That made the score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gersi Snabe having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Harsh Gods throughout the match.
