Domenico Casiraghi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domenico Casiraghi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Domenico Casiraghi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Casiraghi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Domenico Casiraghi made a huge save. The Us Lecce Spa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domenico Casiraghi should have stopped the shot. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Domenico Casiraghi. That made the score 0-14 in the 86 minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Casiraghi having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
