Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michal Lagiewniki kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ovidiu Dincă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Ovidiu Dincă. Ovidiu Dincă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michal Lagiewniki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ovidiu Dincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidiu Dincă quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Moșanu got free with Julio Vera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Juan Sebastián Puig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidiu Dincă quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Dincă. Ovidiu Dincă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sorin Floreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Ghionaru. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Moșanu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ovidiu Dincă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Ovidiu Dincă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Moșanu in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Dincă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Dincă made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Lagiewniki in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Dincă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Dincă saved Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- from getting behind. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Ovidiu Dincă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ovidiu Dincă was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 79 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Dincă came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 88th minute of play forced Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Dincă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Dincă came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Grigore Moșanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
