Thanks to some nice moves Michal Lagiewniki could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Grigore Moșanu scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sorin Floreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sorin Floreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sorin Floreanu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Lagiewniki. In the 43rd match minute, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Bussi to maneuver through the defense. Michal Lagiewniki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michal Lagiewniki in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Claudinei Travassos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Moșanu in the 78th minute of play. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Ovidiu Dincă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute of play. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Sorin Floreanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- reached it. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Grigore Moșanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Lagiewniki came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Claudinei Travassos got a free kick in the 95th minute. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
