Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s Sorin Floreanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Michal Lagiewniki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ovidiu Dincă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Floreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Lagiewniki in the 76th minute of play. With 78 minutes on the clock, Jonathan Venegas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-:s goal. Jose Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ovidiu Dincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fc Gimmel Baia Mare-MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
