Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, InglouriousBastards's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Teodor Coșereanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodor Coșereanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Ilixo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodor Coșereanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodor Coșereanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. After having played for 37 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodor Coșereanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. InglouriousBastards's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Teodor Coșereanu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihăiţă Benga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, InglouriousBastards's goalkeeper Teodor Coșereanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 58 played minutes InglouriousBastards got a freekick which was hit by Marius Vrânceanu. Teodor Coșereanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 59th minute. In the 64th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 69thth minute of the game Mihăiţă Benga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodor Coșereanu was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-5. 79 minutes into the match, InglouriousBastards's goalkeeper Teodor Coșereanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Benga in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Coșereanu having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Coșereanu having to interfere. InglouriousBastards's Teodor Coșereanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save InglouriousBastards from getting a goal against them. After having played for 88 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes in the game, Daniel Zorita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Teodor Coșereanu having to interfere. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The InglouriousBastards fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
