Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alonzo Fidensio started the match with the kick off. Miromir Wojton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonas Vestman in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Barrancas live Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Miromir Wojton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Fidensio. Barrancas live Club's Miromir Wojton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Barrancas live Club's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joonas Vestman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play forced Barrancas live Club's goalkeeper Miromir Wojton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Barrancas live Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alonzo Fidensio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. The supporters of Barrancas live Club booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Joonas Vestman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrancas live Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Joonas Vestman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Alonzo Fidensio sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrancas live Club the free kick. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miromir Wojton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Miromir Wojton in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Tibau Devaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miromir Wojton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. Albino Stephen made a great header on Barrancas live Club's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Barrancas live Club's Alonzo Fidensio got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
