After having played for 3 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Junel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-0 became the score in the 6th minute when King Junel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Michnik in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Bono Chotov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's Bono Chotov managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Saelices in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bono Chotov saved ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ from getting behind. Bono Chotov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bono Chotov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Junel in the 28th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bono Chotov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's Bono Chotov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Görkem Akgöl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's Mårten Nord got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ! Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Michnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Junel in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Görkem Akgöl in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bono Chotov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Junel in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Leopoldo Isidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Görkem Akgöl managed to get in a good position for a shot. ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's supporters rose to their feet, but Görkem Akgöl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mårten Nord who took care of the corner kick. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bono Chotov having to interfere. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
