An unexpectedly hard shot by 巩天帆 in the 70th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. the sword of Damocles were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeff Loomis took the corner. The corner led the sword of Damocles's Jeff Loomis to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, 巩天帆 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 汪霆邦 in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. 张旭傲 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, 汪霆邦 made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, the sword of Damocles could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
