In the 9th minute, Traycho Stamboldzhiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ikonom Brúmbarov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ikonom Brúmbarov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute. When Pavel Kenov came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Temida Sf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Kenov couldn't finish the play. Ikonom Brúmbarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Kenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ikonom Brúmbarov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ikonom Brúmbarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Temida Sf's Rumen Oblakov got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ikonom Brúmbarov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Temida Sf made a substitution. Radomir Istatkov replaced Pavel Kenov. Temida Sf's Ikonom Brúmbarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ikonom Brúmbarov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Temida Sf's Dinko Ormandzhiev was substituted for Traycho Stamboldzhiev. Temida Sf's Totyo Borchev was substituted for Evrosi Darakchiev. Ikonom Brúmbarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Radomir Istatkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Mario Kisev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temida Sf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomir Istatkov went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Dinko Ormandzhiev shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Temida Sf to leave the ground with a draw.
