The tension between the Jamaica and the Szombathelyi Haladás players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Romon Oliver hit a great ball. Olivér Hegedűs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nándor Jászberényi in the 10th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nándor Jászberényi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mózes Bartha in the 17th minute of the match. Geroy Ascue charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geroy Ascue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Geroy Ascue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nándor Jászberényi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mózes Bartha went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Olivér Hegedűs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Jamaica's György Szőlősi threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romon Oliver, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 45 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Vilmos Vastag came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivér Hegedűs, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mózes Bartha was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nándor Jászberényi. Nándor Jászberényi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Demonde Jacobson came out and tried to block the shot, but Nándor Jászberényi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 54th minute. When Balázs Jánosi fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szombathelyi Haladás's protests and gave Balázs Jánosi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Szombathelyi Haladás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balázs Jánosi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Szombathelyi Haladás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. István Szőlősi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Szombathelyi Haladás's zone, Finlay Stair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. György Szőlősi came out of the goal and Finlay Stair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romon Oliver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but György Szőlősi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Szombathelyi Haladás's Olivér Hegedűs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 0-5 after 71 minutes of play. In the 77th minute, Mózes Bartha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Szombathelyi Haladás:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jamaica:s goal. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Nándor Jászberényi sent off a good shot on target. Szombathelyi Haladás's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
