Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baldomero Lapurdi took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Lapurdi in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nemesio Meder in the 15 minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Lapurdi got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niceto Virila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Niceto Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Nuevo Horizonte getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Leo Rutenio hit a great ball. El Salvador's attentive Valentino Ferrant managed to snatch the ball when Hernan Gumaro made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Nuevo Horizonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Gagriel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mateo Leguizamo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Leguizamo couldn't finish the play. Paulino Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Lapurdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Nuevo Horizonte's Paulino Katia. But to his dismay, Paulino Katia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Paulino Katia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Nuevo Horizonte from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Lapurdi succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Niceto Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Tamayo in the 77th minute of play. After 77 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. 79 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Aztore came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Moises Fernandino fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Moises Fernandino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nuevo Horizonte booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuevo Horizonte were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of El Salvador for a fine match.
