Cahya Latuconsina came out of the goal and Pascual Carballar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Rüknettin Toygar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kahlil Cahyadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Rüknettin Toygar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Rüknettin Toygar made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rüknettin Toygar made a kick off. In the 86th minute, Hadi Zamani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 9 Lurah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hadi Zamani in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cahya Latuconsina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 90th minute. The supporters of Colombia booed when 9 Lurah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Wiater didn't get a good kick on the ball.
