After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 董博威 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when 张南棋 made the kick off in the second half. 张南棋 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by 叶政广 in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. For all the effort they put into the match, the 内蒙古煤炭工人联合队 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Honduras.
