After 44 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The wind increased when Zé Paulo Hermes made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celedonio Abajas's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Edmundo Espiga scored to the left of an out of position Celso Hartz, making the score, 2-2. In the 55th match minute, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 김 최 to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Edmundo Espiga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Hartz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Hermes in the 85th minute of play. The throw-in from Mauricio Gonzo in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute of the game Mauricio Gonzo made a throw-in which Celedonio Abajas played forward. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
