Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Alfredo Franceschi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Pan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 14th minute. In the 17th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Jan-Åke Norberg put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 20th minute of the match, Lautaro Puig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elpidio Pan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Bengt-Arne Brun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Arne Brun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Norberg came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Gervaso in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Bengt-Arne Brun made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Norberg in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bengt-Arne Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plast i Naturen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Arne Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Brun in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Arne Brun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Bengt-Arne Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ubaldo Gervaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ubaldo Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Plast i Naturen FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hubert Tholsson hit a great ball. Elpidio Pan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elpidio Pan quite easily take care of the ball. Ubaldo Gervaso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Norberg got free with Benito Sanz in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfred Andersson struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plast i Naturen FC. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Bengt-Arne Brun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Brun came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Brun in the 89th minute of the match. Abel Carballo's late challenge caught a Plast i Naturen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Norberg notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plast i Naturen FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
