It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ognyan Baronov's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ognyan Baronov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Ognyan Baronov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ikonom Brúmbarov. Temida Sf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iskren Drazhev was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play forced Temida Sf's goalkeeper Ikonom Brúmbarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
