A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Carmelo Sifon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Carmelo Sifon made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Angel Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Botello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmelo Sifon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Sifon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Santamaria in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Carmelo Sifon scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 0-8. 82 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Santamaria came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Guevara in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Carmelo Sifon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmelo Sifon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 94 minutes in the game, Angel Botello fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Cristian Santamaria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Santamaria slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Real Madrid de Guatemala left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Curacao.
