Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Zé Paulo Hermes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Zé Paulo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Zé Paulo Hermes sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Celso Hartz made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Stanley Wallace sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute of the game, Gaston Benino landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Rocco Owen charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rocco Owen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Godfredo Baleren was substituted for Gaston Benino. Rocco Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Maximiliano Shepherd scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Hermes in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. After the first half FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Paulo Hermes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Tomás Madaleno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Barrett. The goal made the score 0-8. 62 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Hermes. When Celedonio Abajas came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá fans jumped to their feet. In the 65thth minute of the game Zé Paulo Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 78 minutes into the game, FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Zé Paulo Hermes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. In the 82nd play minute Maximiliano Shepherd came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bruno Barrett. 0-12. Bruno Barrett was a little too slow when Zé Paulo Hermes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-14. If Maximiliano Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximiliano Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Celedonio Abajas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett, 0-15.
