Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 5th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Jarstein having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Zé Paulo da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Rune Jarstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute. Rune Jarstein was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 14th minute Zé Paulo da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Jarstein. Rune Jarstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 28th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute Kristian Oswald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Kristian Oswald got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 56th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Jarstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Gigel Elenescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Elenescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Benedikt Bensch replaced Emilio Melzer. 67 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 72nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
