Joel Gaona's shot from long distance in the 86th minute was not bad at all, but AvanakAvni's 任战辰 knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Rıza Sarim managed to get in a good position for a shot. AvanakAvni's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıza Sarim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 任战辰 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
