Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcin Kalemba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcin Kalemba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 11th minute of play. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gabriel Gaviria in the 21 minute of the game. Duarte Zarzosa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, BOMBILLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Curta to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes BOMBILLO got a freekick which was hit by Yánez Principe.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gelu Ştirbu was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelu Ştirbu. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcin Kalemba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Gelu Ştirbu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Jairo Maleta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Ivan Prats quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Paraguay's attentive Hector Covarrubias managed to snatch the ball when Jairo Maleta made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. A collision led to BOMBILLO getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gelu Ştirbu hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Marcel Curta put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. After 82 played minutes BOMBILLO got a freekick which was hit by Yánez Principe. BOMBILLO's Adolfo Luengo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jacobo Nores but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gelu Ştirbu got free with Jacobo Nores in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Gelu Ştirbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Although Paraguay had been in control for most of the match, BOMBILLO still came away with the win.
