Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Rafael Heintz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Heintz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 32 minutes TSV Delliehausen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Marc Debut. Boris Seidl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Jean-Marc Debut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Seidl hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, TSV Delliehausen's Elvis Töpfer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Mattes in the 57th minute of play. When Boris Seidl fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TSV Delliehausen's protests and gave Boris Seidl a yellow card for diving instead. Boris Seidl kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Elvis Töpfer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After having played for 70 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Heintz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvis Töpfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes of play, TSV Delliehausen's Boris Seidl made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Heintz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Delliehausen from getting a goal against them. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but TSV Delliehausen were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
