Bertie Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. SalentoUnited's Simon Walpert suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. Bertie Johnson got his second yellow card in the match during the 16th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Leone Cikaluk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Troy Kennedy in the 24th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Stanley Wallace managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curacao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanley Wallace was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marshall Graham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanley Wallace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leone Cikaluk having to interfere. The supporters of Curacao booed when SalentoUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chuck Bluom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goalkeeper Leone Cikaluk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Wallace. After a rather tough play, SalentoUnited's Adrien Lampart got a free kick in the 41st minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrien Lampart to strike the kick off in the second half. Stanley Wallace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leone Cikaluk having to interfere. Stanley Wallace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leone Cikaluk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Wallace came free, but Leone Cikaluk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Stanley Wallace left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curacao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Adrien Lampart struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SalentoUnited. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 70th minute of play forced SalentoUnited's goalkeeper Leone Cikaluk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Stanley Wallace managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curacao's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanley Wallace was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leone Cikaluk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in SalentoUnited's zone, Rocco Owen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leone Cikaluk came out of the goal and Rocco Owen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 played minutes, Curacao's Kyle Davies shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leone Cikaluk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curacao reached it. August Amhof charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed August Amhof the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. August Amhof kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. SalentoUnited's Leone Cikaluk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, SalentoUnited's August Amhof got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Rocco Owen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leone Cikaluk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
