With a little luck, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 53 minutes, Alexander Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid de Guatemala and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Madrid de Guatemala! After 80 played minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Noyola. Luca Espinar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sílvio Luiz Goiano. Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Santamaria's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Santamaria helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Santamaria kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Luiz Goiano. Angel Botello hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Luca Espinar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sílvio Luiz Goiano. Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 97th minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Luiz Goiano. Real Madrid de Guatemala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2.
