Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Artur Bachor scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vito Castelao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of the match. Vito Castelao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Dinamita on Grass's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Vito Castelao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Oier Paz with Bogumil Chowaniec as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vito Castelao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Castelao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Bachor's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Vito Castelao. Dinamita on Grass's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, Dinamita on Grass's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Vito Castelao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Artur Bachor made the kick off in the second half. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vito Castelao firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vito Castelao. That made the score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vito Castelao quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Bachor's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito Castelao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Seremet in the 66th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito Castelao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Murillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vito Castelao having to make a save. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Vito Castelao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Peru's Rafael Gallo made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito Castelao was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Gallo. Mihnea Seremet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Seremet in the 94th minute of play. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Castelao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
