Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzo Ivanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Geoboss-My Team's Gigel Cozma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luis Andino. In the 10th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Cozma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gigel Cozma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Gonzo Ivanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzo Ivanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 23rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Geoboss-My Team's Gonzo Ivanov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lavritz Rebøl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzo Ivanov in the 39th minute of the match. Simone Marco's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simone Marco helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Geoboss-My Team got a freekick which was hit by Simone Marco. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Gonzo Ivanov made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Gonzo Ivanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Remus Pinazas who took care of the corner kick. In the 54thth minute of the game Gonzo Ivanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 minutes, Gonzo Ivanov made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gigel Cozma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gigel Cozma came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Geoboss-My Team's Gonzo Ivanov got a free kick in the 89th minute. Gigel Cozma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 95th minute of play forced Geoboss-My Team's goalkeeper Gigel Cozma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Geoboss-My Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzo Ivanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Geoboss-My Team and deserved their victory. The Geoboss-My Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
